5/19/2023 – The City of Pomona partnered with Cal Poly Pomona, Singelyn Center for Innovative Analytics and Draw Tap GIS to implement the ArcGIS Social Equity Analysis Solution. The Solution allowed students to analyze community characteristics while generating an equity analysis index based on key demographic and socio-economic variables. The index identified aeras most vulnerable to housing insecurity. Additional research was conducted on Rental Affordability and Tenant Protection Strategies in the Pomona, CA area.
